SO my account go suspended for trying to upgrade smf???? Should I just switch back to webs?

This is merely a high resource usage suspension and can be undone through the account panel. This time I've done it for you.
In this case it was likely tripped because the upgrade script overran the script execution time limit, so if possible I suggest you try to do a manual upgrade of the necessary files.

THe problem is I can't unsuspend it like i have done before.

It should be unsuspended now. If you are still seeing the suspension page, try a different browser or clear your cache.
