Hi everyone,

My site recently got suspended for having more than 1gb in a folder. I was wondering I could get access to the site so that I could delete the files and hopefully get rid of the suspension. I will have no problem deleting the larger files.

I ask because there is a folder in the site that\'s relatively small and I would like to get some of the files from it. Even if I just get the suspension lifted for a few hours I would be grateful.

Thanks for reading,

Hello,

Unfortunately, it's a permanent suspension for violation of the 1GB for photos and videos rule and the Terms of Service. You can have no further access to the account for any reason.

So can a member of staff not even get access, it's just that I would like the wp folder (my blog) files. If that's not possible I understand.

Hello,

A staff member could get access, but when we say you can have no further access to the account, that is to stop you from accessing the files. It'd defeat the object of the suspension if we allowed it. So, I'm afraid not. There's also no guarantee that the files still exist.

Thanks.

Just jumping in to note, this was one I reclaimed disk space on after the suspension had been confirmed as being ZT. I cleaned up about 50gb on the SAN that night between this account and a few others (surprisingly we had two above 10gb, dunno what they were thinking either).

After confirming it was ZT, sections 6 and 8 of the TOS indicated we aren't under an obligation to provide backups anyways, so to preempt the server reporting disk full again, I cleaned up the top 10 largest accounts that were under a ZT; this was one of them.
