Template upload

Please I need someone to teach or direct me how to upload the template I downloaded online to my webpage using the ftp client.

I have tried it once and the result was that I deleted all the directories which means I wasn't able to upload any longer.

What sort of template is it? Website? Wordpress? Joomla? Other?

Usually, templates come with a .txt file containing installation instructions. Or a /docs/ directory with either .txt, .pdf or index.htm instructions

It is a webpage template that i dowloaded from the internet with lots of interesting features i love. can you please tell me how easy it is to upload using joomla, ftp, file manager or web disc. cheers

There are many different types of templates, and lots of different ways of installing them.

You downloaded the template, so you presumably have a zip file on your computer.

First thing:
Unzip the file and look for a .txt file containing installation instructions. Or a /docs/ directory with either .txt, .pdf or index.htm instructions
