Hi All

First of all, glad to be back on the best free web host I've ever used (anybody remember the "zacnet" account that was on here around 2007 or 2008?) Just a couple questions with regards to the terms of service, specifically the inactivity and copyright policies.

The inactivity policy says I have to have a working website up within 5 days of signup, what's meant by a "working website", like can I just put up an under construction page while I work on my real website or is this not enough?
Also with the copyrighted material policy, let's say that I do Let's Plays on YouTube (obviously these videos include footage of copyrighted games) and I embed these videos on my website, is this in violation or am I all good to do something like that?

Cheers,
ZaccyM

Far as I know a construction page should be fine; it's mostly in there because a lot of users will sign up then never do -anything- on the account at all.

Youtube videos is a bit different, particularly Let's Plays - it is footage of copyrighted games, but barring embedding a Youtube video that contains malicious instructions (how to make a bomb, how to install a proxy on x10hosting, etc) or the usual adult material (porn) violations, I don't see a reason the Let's Play's themselves would go against our ToS. There's a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo that hasn't been challenged in US courts as to whether an LP is considered infringing or if it's Fair Use, so I'm leaning towards Fair Use.

In any case, the only time I can imagine shutting a site off for an LP is if we get a DMCA over it. The odds of that happening are slim though - it'd be far easier to DMCA it at Youtube and remove the video entirely, rather than shutting off a random site that embedded it :)

Edit: Removed my double-post, computer derped and double-subbed
