i visited your site but did not see any errors.
however all i saw was a login page.

many have mentioned issues either ftp or other ones,
apparently since the same time x10 made changes to the cpanel theme.
for many, simply changing the theme to paper_lantern fixed the problem.
id suggest you try that if you already didnt.

Yes, it has no problems in php code, but doesn't connect to mysql database, so the lists i have there are not showned.
I cant change theme cause it doesnt take over when o try to change and comes back to paper again.
the problem must be in the server, how to restart?

Only staff at x10 can do that. regular members cant do nothing,
besides make suggestions or give tips or try to help in other ways.
but anything related to the server, hosting features/services etc are all staff only.
(and they dont show up as often as they should to be honest)

you should be able to login to your cpanel and select paper_lantern
for changing the theme. (unless it was already set to that)
i had similar issues before as i was set to use the x3 for cpanel 11 theme
until i made the mistake to try the paper_lantern theme & couldnt change back.

if you continue having issues or get tired of it,
since it is free just make a new account, or look for a new host.

It wont let me :(

I would like to upgrade to paid account, but didn't want to loose the data in the database :(

you can try to email them at support@x10hosting.com
but i cant promise you anything.
i dont know if they are even paying attention to the servers.
it dont seem like it, i even tried emailing about some of the issues
people are claiming to have because i to think its ridiculous.
many more experienced members like myself try to help where we can.
but even then are limited to do anything else.

I'm having the same problem with the MySQL database server for my website. I don't think it's related to the theme. It's been working for a long time and tonight, the problems just started. Plus, I tried changing the theme and that didn't help. I get the same error. The error my website shows is:

Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (HY000/2002): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111 "Connection refused")

Trying to run phpmyadmin causes the same error. I'm not able to open phpmyadmin.

I'm not able to open phpmyadmin

odd, i can open it fine on my end. no errors.
im on server x5 maybe thats why.
but i checked everything for my account and it all works fine.
no mysql, ftp or email issues like everyone is reporting.

all i can suggest is email them or create a new account and try that.

I have the same issue. It started at 2000 last night with the error 'too many connections' then sometime overnight to about 0800 this morning the error 'mysqli_connect(): (HY000/2002): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111 Connection Refused)'. It is now 12:30 were I am and still no resolution.

What a relief. I just noticed this problem today on my site at satori.x10host.com, after having great stability for ages now.

I'm using the right cPanel theme and still can't access phpMyAdmin because MySQL is down.

Already submitted a support request email at support@x10hosting.com.

Good to know I didn't bork something on my site. With so many other users encountering this it seems likely they'll have to sort it out soon.
