The password field is a plain textbox

Hi admin,

The password box on the top login bar is a plain textbox which shows the character as we type password. Please make it a password field for the security purpose.

Its an information for the admin to make the forum more secure for the users. If its a password field for others its great but for me its a text field for me.
Also when I typed my username and password of the fields it opened a new login page where I again had to provide my username and passwords on that page. Please see if something is wrong with the login module.
