What is the rate for the increase in my Credits? I mean, does creating a topic give more than making a reply? Or is it given in random amounts? I'm just curious and think this rightfully belongs to the Off-topic thread...

Corey's Post

But personally, I think the formula was made jointly by Stephen Hawking and Tim Burton.

I also think credits are glitched a bit; at time of posting shadowslash had 403.89 credits. There's been reports of credits going -down- for some reason, although it doesn't appear to be affecting shadowslash.

There's still work to be done on it though, hopefully all will be golden soon enough :)

I am waiting for golden age too_One does get credit for posting or one does get credit only when he gets reputation or somebody press the thanks button? I am very confused about it because most active members and me too request for reputation and another reason is my negative credits itself.

After very careful consideration of all of the facts and available evidence I have come to the conclusion that credits are being generated by a random number generator with some "odds" built in much like casino slot machines. According to Corey's post users should receive a predetermined amount of credits, (in whole numbers), depending on the forum posted in and a few other factors. However, many users have credit balances such as "3325.42". I am at a complete loss to comprehend where the ".42" comes from except, perhaps, from the random number generator. Other users have negative credit balances. These unfortunate users have obviously fell victim to a long stream of negative numbers being generated by the random number generator, however, it would seem to me that if the users with negative balances post frequently there is a high probability that the random number generator will begin outputting positive numbers and they will all eventually get back to a positive credit balance. If you put enough quarters in a slot machine it will eventually give you some of your quarters back.
