The sad thing about Adsense...

Don't get me wrong, it's a great program and all, but sometimes it's irritating when the links provided are exactly the opposite of what you're trying to convey in your website.

Example: My website is based around the concept of being childfree - willingly living without having children - and I always get ads for diapers and other baby products. Talk about mistargeted.

Not like I blame the program or anything... just frustrating.

Anybody else ever deal with this? :(

It all depends on what keywords Google picks out of your content, for example, if the word 'Baby' appears often, then it'll just pick ads related to that.

I agree that it's frustrating, Google should AT LEAST give us some way of telling them what category our site is in. Without having to make us put the <-!google_adsense_start-> tags that won't work in dynamic content pages without constant editing.

Have you tried posting on official Adsense blog??? See what they say....
My site is all about games and i always get ads for Games.And the program works fine for me.
