Yesterday, I've completed my program and I've made it to get my notebook to work with my PS3! Talking about that, I also make the program to make my PS3 graphics card + CPU to power my notebook so that I could play Silent Hunter III.

OMG...I set my game settings on my notebook (full blast) and the FPS is between 300 - 320FP. You know...I cried when I saw this....I didn't know that I could do something like this...Its an americal. However, it was a struggle to stripped my consol and replace some cables so that the machine could sycronize and work togheter.

On the other hand, I made my 'notebook graphics card' to controle every other applications and work (for the background). This will reduce stress for my notebook...

Downside: I am not distributing my application to all users. This is because of piracy, ideas and codes will be stolen and revered engineer for comercial!
I shall denied all request to distribute this software...

So you have your PS3 connected to your laptop and can play games on and use it as a controller? So now you play games that you would normally play on a 20+ inch tv on a 15-17 inch screen? And instead of having a controller in your hand you play with a keyboard? Doesn't seem so great to me...Unless your PC games run faster? I don't know, maybe I'm missing something here. If you are worried about people stealing your code, get a patent for it. Then release it then sue people who are using your code?

What I am trying to say is...

1.] My Ps3 can power the notebook so that I can play: Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific (PC DVD) without any lags. The PS3 supports my notebook while my ATi Mobility VGA card controles the background. This method will also reduces the stress on my notebook.

P.S. When I plugged in my special cable (which I've designed with a HDMI cable), I can now play PC games with / without it (PS3 controle)...this can be configured with my application. However, there are some bugs that needs to be kicked out!

2.] I can play Blue-ray disk without having to buy notebook CD drive!
I am not kidding....its real!

3.] Do you know how much if you want to patent your product?
I bet ya...its ridiculously expensive and I don't have that sort of money yet!

4.] Some drivers are needed...so I am going to create that later...
All need is...to make one system files; one INF files and a DLL files or two...
If I have time, I'll upgrade some more componets so that I could transfer more RAM (memory) to my PS3...since the console only holds 256Mb RAM.

5.] Don't even ask about: "Can I have it? Please??"

The answer is...NO!!

interesting but if you are not gonna release it then why tell anyone? Makes no real sense, few people if any want to hear about a application, they just want to experience it so you are just asking for people to beg you for this app. Also it makes your claims sound fake. You could of waited until you got a patent on it then told everyone... Not that is really matters to me as I don't have nor want a ps3.

Wow, nice job in doing that with your PS3! This is something new I've heard about and hope you're enjoying it! Tried the PS3's video card against Crysis yet? I'd love to hear how that'd take it. Otherwise, I have heard of things such as Folding@Home and such, so while the PS3s themselves may be expensive, they are basically a very capable system. That Cell processor and the GPU in the PS3 are quite flexible chips.

I don't believe u. How could an hdmi cable allow u to share the performance of a graphics card on another device. I'll believe it when I see it...

I cured cancer... don't ask for it.

Even if it is possible... I wouldn't bother if its just to play games.

Instead I just use Yellow Dog Linux on my PS3.

That seems incredible.. wow. You could make serious, serious cash out of that.

1. Patent
2. Sell your patent or start building PS3 to notebook connector packs and sell them to retailers.

Might involve some hacking, but HDMI cables are like SATA/Fiber Optic cables. They carry TONS of bandwidth!

i smell a fake...

ehem.. ps3 has 2x256mb of ram of which is XDR @ 3.2GB which is fast... the other is GDDR3 @ 700mhz

but i dont get what the OP is saying... something about using ps3 to play on his laptop?

If hes using the PS3's linux than it's cant access the PS3's GPU (last i checked) which has the GDDR3 256mb of ram...

and about the PS3 blu-ray to laptop, i think theres somethin out there like that already? im not 100% sure tho...

Get some pictures... until then i will put this in the fake files... lol
