Thoughts on my site design

I figured I'd ask for some thoughts on my site design before I move forward any further. I removed my browser toolbars, the statusbar, and the scrollbar, as well as my start button from the image before posting it because those things are irrelevant to the site design. The image is massive, so you may have to scroll to see all of it.

Like the others have said, a little CSS should do the job to impress...but the colours are a little un-appealing. It's basically a different shade of blue/purple in the three different elements (background, logo, menu links). The layout looks a little amateur and, no offense, but this design would fail to attract visitors.

Logo
Nice But maybe different color , but still Ill give ya a +1

Design
Way to purple -1
No Boxes or anything of a sort -2.5
Change the font -1
No Banner or Header -1

And the Major Key:
To Simple for people to wnat to come back -3

So your final talley is:

Its a nice try, you have a good logo and a good concept. Just to simple.

Keep trying, youll get it.

BTW Im contacting you seeing you like sports I may have something you may like.

mmmm.... no offense but that doesn't look like a layout to me, you need a lot of work, the logo is the only thing that I see you might have worked on. 3/10

I will have to agree with other people.

It is just way to simple to be even classed as a template/design.

However if this is just a first impressions and is not complete, then that is fair enough.

I would have to give this 3/10

Just because it is too simple, the colours are roughly the same etc

Too simple, no images, just text, bright background, text color tries to blend with the background. 2/10

First impressions
Upon looking at your design, the blandness of it, the poor choice of colours, and the horrible contrast makes me kinda feel... eh.

Colours
The purple has horrible contrast with the blue, and is a tad hard to read.

Layout
The layout of the site is the tried-and-true 2-column layout, and it seems to work for yours.

Page style
It would help if you had borders or different colours for each section of the page content. The lack of any decoration results in a design that's too spartan for me.

The design looks like it was made circa 1996, when they didn't have a magical tool called "CSS" (or at least when nobody used it).

did you make that in Microsoft Word or something? Use Dreamweaver, the only way to go, or hire a web designer to fit your custom needs. Sorry, but that thing needs work. Work it baby work it!
