Thoughts so far

So I'm working on my site theme and I'm liking it but I would love some other opinions

It looks good... easy to navigate and clean feel. I didn't realize you were using wordpress till now.. nice

I'm a little put off by the warning icons in the sidebar. One represents instructions and the other a disclaimer, and I think there are better ways of drawing attention to them without giving the initial impression (even if it's just a flash) that there are errors on the page. (Not to mention the gradient.) And the "read more" looks a little out of place in an otherwise "flat" design too. (That's one of the problems I have with "flat" — once you're committed, you're committed. Gradients and drop shadows really look out of place if they're not subtly included everywhere.) Check the freebies at Smashing Mag; there may be an icon set that's a better match for your overall design (which is good, BTW).
