Tiger or Alligator?

Given the choice, would you be a tiger or an alligator?

Why?

Personally I would be a tiger. I like cats first of all, but the fact that they are more mobile when it comes down to land, it can give them an advantage, but I'm sure that should world temperatures become too high if ever, alligators would survive longer as water tends to take longer to heat up and cool down than air.
