Here's some tips on how to get lots of views for your website when your posting in this board.
1: A better title yields more results.
When your posting a website most people will just say something like "review my site" or "check out my new website". Well the chances are if people like games (for example) there not going to go through everyone and look for a gaming site are they? No. So if you describe a; what your sites about b; what it offers. Also ask for feedback on your site.
Here's some examples:
The site is about halo 3 and has cheats and walkthroughs. TITLE: Halo 3 site full of cheats and walkthroughs.
Note: what you don't want to do is trick people by telling them stuff like "OMG CHECK OUT MY SITE". It just annoys people and the think less of you and your site.
2escribe why people should visit and come back.
Making threads/topics and just saying [ My site: http://yousite.xx.com] is pointless. Describe you site and tell people a; why visit b; what it offers c; why come back. If you describe you site and what its about people will be attracted to it.
Example:
hey,
heres my new site http://site.com
How to improve on it:
Hey,
I just made a website. Its about HALO 3 and contains things like: cheats and secrets. It has over 1000 articles and 290 cheats for people to use. It has a simple and neat design making it easy for people to use.
http://halosite.com [make sure its clickable]
3:Caps & Full stops (SPELLING TOO!)
If you were to like this: hey my nw site tis site is gr8 - you don't look very professional do you. If you use the correct spelling and use the correct punctutation people will take you more seriously. You may think its silly but really if you look lke tis you won't looked twice.
4rovide Screen shots, reviews and sample content!
Posting a screen shot of your website is always a good idea. It gives the use a sample and idea what the sites about. Make it look good add effects but don't make it fake . If you provide reviews on what people thought of you site it makes the guest feel like there missing out, making them have a look.
Providing sample content helps, why? Well if you provide half an article the have a reason to view the rest.
If you follow these you should have no problems!
STICKY PLEASE?
