A good way to find forgotten file hogs is to use WinDirStat. It provides a graphical representation of which hard drives you choose to scan, and updates based on file deletion you choose to do in the program. Using it I've cleared up hundreds of gigabytes of space on my home computer. Great program and a must for any Windows install IMO.
