Too much use of system allocation

I have been using x10hosting to write a site, and I am attempting to back this up. However my free site will constantly block me for using too much system allocation despite the bandwidth and memory being well within limits. I am using a database and backup is difficult to do manually - is there a way around this?

How are you doing the backup? Backing up the database using the Export feature in phpMyAdmin wont trigger suspension. Then download the files with FTP, alternately archive them in the cPanel file manager and then download the archive

I am backing up my moodle site using the manual backup. Will this work?
