Here is a list of topsites which you can submit your site into. In case you don't know how Topsite's work I'll give a brief description:

You submit your site into the Topsite and they will give you a link. You post the link on your site/signature/etc. You get people to click on that link and vote for your site. The more votes you get the higher up in the list your forum will be.

Which of those are the best though? You can hardly put a couple of dozen links on your site, all of which can be quite annoying to the user.

But I think many sites has got a links page where they put interested links. It is quite anoying finding your site full of links, not only to your users but to search engines too, that is why links page is that important. I am not sure if the above top sites accepts this kind of technology of using a sub-page instead of your top page or the index page.

I really uses that to exchange links rather than putting links in my main site.

On the contrary, if you wish to have your users clicking on those links to vote for you as stated, then I suggest you let your users know what it is for: that is not quite bad or anoying thing for your users to know that they are really helping you in a good manner.


By the way, is it for only forums, It seems I didn't get the concept right can anyone explain it here for me, please.
