Tor Question.

Does anyone know how to rig up Tor through other programs? As far as I know, I only have it doing its thing with Firefox.

running tor on other programs varies. if the program supports HTTP proxies, tell them to use "localhost port 8118"

Please do not try to p2p thru TOR, it slows everyone down...

slothie is right, unless it is necessary, tor can be slow for u and other people. so plz try to be courteous to the people around you

I have no intent on trying to use any p2p related things through Tor. Heck, I have it off most of the time. I'm mostly interested in using it for matters of a different sort - nothing illegal though .
