is it normal to not be able to create any file in the folder w/o it being deleted? Or add a folder into it, and have it deleted right when it's put in there?

Thanks.... just having trouble getting phpBB2 to start.

Can you be more specific? Also, what FTP program do you use?

I think I know what you mean, but you should be able to put files in /public_html/. On your website, the /public_html/ on a given FTP program is actually username.x10hosting.com/.

Are you referring to a FTP program?
Try downloading FileZilla
at CNET.

no flashfxp is the best

CuteFTP - Paid, good.
FlashFXP - Free, good ;) so yes, FlashFXP is good (for a free program).

OK, well, this isn't about what FTP program is the best... :D

discobiscuits,
After using an FTP client program, did it solve your problem?

no it didnt. it still lets me access the folders and everything, but I'm unable to create files/folders into the public_html one. If i do, it deletes it right when I do it. Every other one is fine, though.
