Trouble opening cPanel

I'm running into an issue with my account where clicking cPanel isn't working properly.

Clicking on the Open cPanel link takes me to this page:


Clicking on Retry takes me back to my Welcome home page.


I tried to access my account through Direct Admin and it appears that my credentials are working, but it does not navigate to a new page.


A short moment after this login notification displays, the form unbinds my inputs and goes back to its default state.



I was told there was an issue with transferring my account so I'm wondering if something messed up while it was being fixed.

If you were to use the wrong URL for DA, it will not log you in properly. Your server is x13, so you'd have to log in to https://x13.x10hosting.com:2222

Please let's start with logging in to that page and see if that works. It will give us more information on where the problem lies, then I can pass that along to the admin team.

Thanks for checking back with me. I followed the link you sent me and ran into the problem I described with the login success being displayed and then suddenly disappearing.

After this it quickly clears the form and I'm not redirected anywhere:

You should now be able to login through the main login (uses session so doesn't care about passwords), this is the recommended method and the only method that counts towards the inactivity timer.

Direct login may still fail and would get your IP blocked eventually if you fail enough times.

It is possible that the passwords have gotten mismatched, but normally the same password as you use for the main login would be synced to the server, although we have noticed that with some special chars it fails as well as if the main password does not meet the requirements for DA. A new backend system is scheduled to go live in the next 24 hours which is why we didn't really dig into that problem.
