Trouble Registering

I recently attempted to create an account with the cpanel username optimal . After entering the confirmation code, I was told that the cpanel password which I had selected was invalid and I would need to sign up again. However, when I attempted to do so, I received a message that my email address and user name were already in use. What do I need to do to be able to go through the signup process again?
