Hello!

i just uploaded files in my public HTML folder, and i can access them through ""http://isaeldallaire.x10.mx/home/"".
Now i want to redirect or park this adress "isaeldallaire.com" and make it point to this site. I have changed the server name to point on the x10hosting servers, and i am not sure of what to write in the "manage redirection". i tryed many different ways and it always point to the x10 hosting 404 error, file not found or mispelling in the name. Someone knows exactly what i have to do to get this right? Thanks!

Why did you put your files in public_html/home instead of directly into public_html (where they normally belong)?

To clear up the redirection problem, post your .htaccess file here and I can tell you how to edit out the problem. (a parked domain shows exactly the same content as your main domain. I does not need redirection. But if you keep your files in /home, then you will need something to direct the browsers to the subdirectory when they ask for isaeldallaire.com).

Where can i find this .htaccess file? If it is too much trouble i can get rid of the home folder, but it will be long since with the standard ftp provided with the site i can only upload one file at time.

Ok, i have deleted the home folder, so everything is directly accessible from public_html. Redirection is disabled. Still
i have this x10hosting 404 error, file not found when trying to access my site through isaeldallaire.com... any ideas?

Go to cPanel.
Click on reset all interface settings
Click on File Manager.
Select "Web root"
Check "Show hidden files (dotfiles)" and usually "Don't show this again"
You can see/edit/copy .htaccess in File Manager.

-------------------

I can see your site now using isaeldallaire.com . Please clear your browser cache & history before checking the site again.
