Do you believe that the UK House of Lords should:

1) remain wholly appointed;
2) become partially elected and partially appointed; or
3) become a fully elected Senate of the United Kingdom?

If it became fully-elected, it wouldn't be the House of Lords now, would it.
Their lifetime appointment means that they don't have to constantly look be concerned with voting the way the party wants them or to succumb to populist demands. Their concern is for what makes sense legislatively, not what is popular.

The house of lords should remain the same to remain free of political pressure. It holds the same concept as the United States Supreme Court.
