Unable to change mx record for gmail

Hi,

I have been trying to get google apps to work on my domain for my school club website. Web domain is http://tpaeg.uni.cc

However, what I have notice is that cpanel will always change the mx record to the default one therefore resulting in google being unable to detect my updated mx record and thereby prevents me from using google apps on my domain.

I am wondering if anyone here can guide me along to get google apps set up for my domain. Abit of a rush actually as my school is currently waiting for their emails.

So you've followed the guide here http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?answer=54717 and added the record?

If that doesn't work, add all these including the priority number to the left of the server name:

i have just configured gmail apps for sending emails, write this in the domain you want to use :

ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

this works for me
