Unable to connect FTP

Sir,
This is the first time I am logging in, after creating an account. First of all accept my thanks. I have downloaded the filezilla ftp configuration file (both ftp & sftp). Still unable to login via filezilla ftp client. I get 'Authentication failed. Critical error'.
Kindly help me.

Hi,
This could be a configuration setting problem also.If so that can be easily solved by configuring filezilla correctly.
To get the configuration correctly,go to cPanel, click the ftp accounts icon/link and check for configure ftp settings.
There you can find details for the ftp logging.
If you still have problems, revert back.

I had already done that. Repeated that same act of downloading configuration file from cPanel and importing it from filezilla. Yet the symptom remains same. 'Login Authentication failed. Critical error' results. Please do the needful.
