Unable to connect to FTP

I have been unable to connect to my FTP server to upload phpBB.

Server: ftp.game-fuel.com
username: zero@game-fuel.com
password: (my password)
port: 21

Every time I get "Could not connect."

Server: chopin.x10hosting.com

User: your cPanel username

Password: Rumpelstiltskin (or your cPanel password)
