Unable to create hosting account which is "ready for creation"

Hi,

I just registered for a free hosting account. All steps were successful, including verification of my e-mail address.

Now I see the following message in the Account Management Panel:
"You have a hosting account ready for creation. Click here to create it."

However, whenever I click on this link I get this error:
"It appears that we are having some slight difficulties, please wait and try your request again. (8763C9E4)"

Is there a general problem at the moment?
I've been trying this for about half an hour now.

It appears to be a temporary problem. Could you try it again now and see if it works?

No: the problem is still present (exact same error message).

Could you investigate further?
