Unable to extract .rar

An error on page keeps coming up when I try to extract a .rar file. I have tried several times now but it still wont work. I am using the File Manager v3 not the legacy one. Could someone please sort this out.

Hey, i would just like to inform you that unfortunately the cpanel file managers extract feature only works on extracting .zip files.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, maybe you could re-compress the file as a .zip instead of the .rar.

ok thanks. It was a plugin for my forum. I will have to contact the makers of the plugin and see if they will re-compress it.
