unable to link accounts

I too am getting an error trying to link my hosting account to my forum account. It may be because the subdomain I tried to use first was 9 characters long. Now when I login, I get an error that says I must login to view this page. So I login again and I get the welcome message. I click on the control panel link and it gives me the link account page. I try to link the account and it tells me the account does not exist. I try to recreate the account and it tells me I already have an account, use it. frustrating. please help. If deleting the accounts will help, please do and I will start over with 8 character names.

You can have over an 8 character subdomain just not over 8 chars for the user name.

What is your hosting user name? Did you activate your account and get your welcome Email? If not go here: http://x10hosting.com/hosting/resendconfirmation
