Unable to log in to cPanel interface

Hello, I'm finding that I'm able to log in to the x10 main interface with my username/password, but am unable to log into cPanel (hosted on absolut) with the same credentials (Username "migeandd"). What's happening?

Which Cpanel link are you using. You should use the one that is mentioned in your Account Panel.

Thanks for the response. Actually, the link I'm using is the "Login to cPanel" link in the (x10) Hosting Account Management screen. I've also tried logging into absolut directly (http://absolut.x10hosting.com/cpanel) without luck. I do see that direct FTP access works ok -- I'm just not able to get in to cPanel. (Couldn't test WebDAV/webdisk, since I don't use that regularly).

Try this http://absolut.x10hosting.com:2082/

Do you have any other domains parked?

By the way your primary domain is not pointed to x10hosting by any manner (no A record, No nameservers)

Set the nameservers of your primary domain to
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

Thanks! Just tried that link out -- http://absolut.x10hosting.com:2082/ is the link that failed for me originally (http://absolut.x10hosting.com/cpanel redirects there).

I can log in to absolut via FTP using the same username/password that I'd normally log in to cPanel with, but it doesn't seem to be working with cPanel on absolut anymore.

Just an update: I updated my password in the Hosting Account Management page. Afterward, I was able to log in to the account page, forums, cPanel, and FTP with the new credentials. All looks well now. Thanks for the help!
