Unable to log into cpanel and ftp via client

Im having a problem logging into my cpanel, it comes up with login attempt failed.

Also im having a problem logging into an ftp server i created, i can log into the www one but not the marketlogs one. (im using aceftp client)

Its been like this for 2 days now so i thought i would check.

I know the my space has been moved from vox to stoli could this be the problem?

Your ftp username should end with @pn3.x10hosting.com
Only the main ftp account should not have that ending.

For cPanel, try clearing your browsers cache. It might be sending you to the old server.
If that doesn't work, try using http://stoli.x10hosting.com:2082/

I tried the link you gave to stoli and it still sais "Login attempt failed"

Also, the main ftp to pn3 works fine but the evemarketlogs ftp i cannot access. "530 Login authentication failed"

Because you are double posting? And Corey has set it up so that there are not a thousand posts by one person ... all their messages that are right after another, are placed as edits in the original post.

Hi again.

Just tried the other stoli link you posted Christopher and again, still login attempt failed.

Same with the pn3 instead of stoli.

Also the evemarketlogs ftp is still giving me, error 530 login authentication failed.

I can see all my details in the account managment page now where i couldnt before, so i changed the password and was able to change my contact details but i still cannot access the cpanel.

There is one thing i will add to this while im here.

I uploaded a file over a week ago through aceftp, connecting to the main pn3 ftp server and the upload failed for some reason.
I ended up with a file on the server called .pureftpd-upload.48139c24.15.40b3.259eba03

When i try to delete this file as its just taking up space i get this error message from aceftp
550 Prohibited file name: .pureftpd-upload.48139c24.15.40b3.259eba03
Unable to delete file "/public_html/content/media/.pureftpd-upload.48139c24.15.40b3.259eba03", continuing anyway...

Could this be causing a problem? its 50mb in size can you delete it?

I have removed the file in question. I have also made it so you should be able to use ftp and cPanel. Please let me know if it now works for you.

No, still no joy i cannot login to Cpanel or the marketlogs ftp. :dunno:

BTW thanks for deleting the file.
See this is what i find strange, i can login to the pn3 main ftp and transfer files etc, login to the AMP but not to the Cpanel or the marketlogs ftp.

Can you try now using http://74.86.116.188:2082 ? Let me know if that works. Also try the normal cpanel url.

Hi Chris.

Cpanel now works on both those addresses thanks for that, What was the problem? DNS maybe?

Marketlogs ftp still gives a 530 error when i try to connect with aceftp Though.
I can try to change the password later now that i can get to Cpanel but i havnt changed anything in my ftp client.

During the server move the temp suspension on the account wasn't released. meaning some of the services like ftp and cpanel for your account were blocked.

I would suggest changing the password as that is what that error usually means.
