Unable to login, password reset failing

Hi,

unable to login to the console, states I need to reset my password. The email account linked to the account is also failing due to password needs resetting.

Can you re-enabled the account and email using the old passwords or suggest another solution to enable me to receive the password reset message?

This is why the contact email address should never be dependent of the service being active, I'll unsuspend your account since it is just an inactivity suspension. Note though that if you fail to do the reset before the script that looks for inactive accounts is ran next the account will end up suspended again.

I'd advice that once you have regained access you set a new email address as your contact email so you do get mails from us in the event your account gets suspended for inactivity in the future as well (warning emails as well as one informing about the suspension has been sent to that address though the last may not have received since the account already was suspended).

Yeah, the password reset is mandatory, there's no way around it, the old password will not work (the backend system has changed to a completely different system).

If you can not access emails on your custom email address even with the account unsuspended (going to webmail: https://x14.x10hosting.com/roundcube would still work if you know the password for the email account), your only option would be to to have us set a new email address for your account, for this please PM me here on the forums and let me know what other email address you want set for the account.

The trickier part of this may be that the domain was a parked one in the old system and is therefor now a domain pointer, which technically can not have its own email, it will mirror what email address there is on the domain it is pointer for, which do have that same email user, just with the part after @ being the x10host.com domain you have.

I have unsuspended your account again, but it will end up suspended again when the script is ran next time unless you sorted out the password reset and logged in by then.

I like everyone else that do support on free hosting do it on a volunteer basis, outside of a regular job to pay my bills.

Some days that means I have more time, some days less time, and with the upcoming holidays there are, for many people at least, going to be less availability due to other resposibilities and activities.

The email address has now been changed, you will still need to do the password reset however to regain access.

Just tried and the reset option using and after waiting 30mins I checked my email and I haven't received a reset email, not in spam or deleted folders.

Can you verify the reset email was sent to my new email address please?


Really appreciate all your hope and certainly considering moving to the paid service to avoid all this trouble.
