Unable to login to cpanel

My websites were on lotus, now fris. Only 1 website loads and all attempts at cpanel login have failed. None of the forum suggestions worked.

Try logging into cPanel from the account panel. If one website works then you should be able to login. The rest are probably still having their DNS updated.

No go. Every method mentioned in the forum leads to "Login failed."
Plus my websites are not loading their original pages - 1 site is just a blank page with no source code, and the other goes to .../cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

If necessary, I will delete the hosting acct and start over. Let me know if this is what I should do.
