By being unable I guess you mean that your username/password is not accepted.
Go to Account Management System
Sign in with Forum username/password
Menu ACCOUNT-->update password
When they ask for password, they want your current forum password.
This will set/reset both Forum and cPanel password to the same value.
If you still have problems, post back.
