unable to login with FTP

Hi, I'm using smartFTP, but for some reason, it's having a difficult time login in.

my site, www.project-tideas.com, so i'm using ftp.project-tideas.com, using my cpanel login and password, but for some reason it isn't working.

Any suggestions?

Can you use "project-tideas.com" as the domain and try?

I thought I was using it as a domain by doing, ftp.project-tideas.com ?

Well, your domain is project-tideas.com, you can use either.

I did. I tried using ftp.project-tideas.com and it's still giving me the same error

If you remove ftp. from the domain, does it work?
