unable to open joomla site

hello!

Today at about 15:20 (+2gmt) i tried to install virtuemart on my subdomain: haliamantas.x10.bz
the first step of the installation completed but when i clicked next i got this error 500 (The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.)
I then tried to remove anything regarding virtuemart through ftp but error remains.plz help me cause i don't know a lot about programming.
Also how can i transfer my localhost virtuemart with its preferences to x10hosting?is there a way?

Check that the permissions of the PHP files are all set to 0644 and the permissions of the directories are set to 0775.

I did what you said but didn't saw any change.The problem remains "500 Internal Server Error".

Thank you.i can see the site but can't access my administrator control panel
I get the following errors:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The additional 404 error comes when trying to open the link of the virtuemart test store...
Can i overcome this?

It did worked...
i then tried to reinstall virtuemart in order to get the link of my site working and not give 404 error and got the same error...

What to do in order to get rid of that?

I just relized that joomfish also does not work...

I had moved the sites files and database manually on a new installation of joomla in x10...
i then tried to install my components but they dont install properly neither work properly...
is there a way to fix it or should i begin from start?
