unable to see ads in joomla

Have added the corporate ads as instructed below but ads not showing!!

For the Corporate plan:
1) Download this (located on extensions.joomla.org) (do not extract)
2) Install the mod
a) http://yoururl/joomlafolder/administrator
b) Login
c) Installers - Modules
d) Click the browse button
e) Locate and double click the file you downloaded in step 1
f) Click upload file and install
3) Modules - Site Modules
4) Click Html Module
5) Show title - no
6) position - banner (using default them. May have to change for other themes reply for others)
7) In html paste the Corporate Ad code.
8) Click Save
9) You may have to unpublish the Banners module
10) Check your homepage
11) Done!
(If you do not see the ads, check if you have a ad blocker)

Are you sure you placed in the code right? I don't know how joomla works, but is there a folder called "cache"? if so, delete all things but not .htaccess and index.html

go to modules and publish the module when you install some module it by default remains unpublished.

Post your site here, sometimes the ads do not show up for certain countries especially if we have Yahoo on the rotator.
