I am using PHP Mailer to send e-mails from my website (contact form and password retrieval). They work fine from my XAMPP so I guess the server configuration prevents this. What can I do?

  1. Provide steps to reproduce your issue.
  2. Provide code of issue.

I have no idea about "code of issue". That is all I get. I guess maybe SMTP is disabled for free accounts. The sender has been working from my own computer.

I am using smtp-mail.outlook.com as Host and I have not written anything regarding a Port. I got the source code from a website.

I am using smtp-mail.outlook.com as Host

external [ SMTP ] is blocked on x10hosting's free-hosting servers
all Email must go out through outbound spam filters on 10hosting's SMTP server - to be scanned for spam and phishing and other test

No. That's "spoofing", and it's not allowed here (because it can be used for phishing). The originating email address (From) must be an existing email address on your account.
