Unable to sign into my account (can only remember username)

Hi,

I recently returned to login to my account, but it doesn't seem to be accepting my browser saved credentials. Then I noticed that it the input fields have changed and doesn't seem to permit username anymore (the input seems to only want the email address). However, I've long forgotten what email address I used to sign up for the account.

I've already tried several emails I may have used when I first signed up, but don't seem to see any emails arrive about resetting my access.

Is there a way to still log into my account in this situation?

There's no hosting account currently linked with your forum account, and seeing as the last time I see a successfull login is from May, the hosting has since been terminated for being inactive. Part of the requirement is to login at least once every 30 days to keep the account active.

The email attached is from the domain qq.com and consists of numbers alone.

Thanks for the hint. I did find out my old QQ email I used (had to boot up my really old laptop that I fortunately kept around). However, it says I'm not allowed to login from Japan (I moved here) and also couldn't get in when I tried to use a VPN as it blocks that too.

Also when you say terminated, I guess that is worse than being suspended? (I.e. it can not be recovered even if I recalled my original email address?)

Guess nothing much else can be done now.

Thanks x10hosting for all the years of service! It was great while it lasted. :)

Yes, terminated is indeed worse then suspended, it means everything is deleted from the servers.

Unfortunately we can not provide service to all countries at this time, which means a lot countries are restricted from signing up together with proxy/vpn services as those would allow users to bypass the restrictions.

Hopefully we can open up to more countries again in the future, but it is uncertain at this time.

Understood thanks for confirming that.

Is there a way to be notified about changes to country availability? If so I'll certainly subscribe to see when I might be able to sign up again.

Otherwise no probs.
