Resolved Unable to update password on x13.x10hosting.com

tl;dr: So, how can I update my DirectAdmin password without knowing the current one?

It looks like my site at alexgapps.x10.mx has been migrated to DirectAdmin on x13.x10hosting.com, but when accessing phpMyAdmin, I'm prompted for credentials.

To update credentials, create new login keys for DirectAdmin, log into https://x13.x10hosting.com:2222/ directly, or use phpMyAdmin, it looks like you have to know your current password DirectAdmin .

Here's the problem: I don't know my current DirectAdmin password. The old cPanel password I used at xo2.x10hosting.com, nor the password I use to log into x10hosting.com, appear to be working on x13.x10hosting.com (though SSO login via https://x10hosting.com/sso/main works fine).

When you login through SSO login it uses a session based login so the password is not really in play between those two.

Normally the password for SSO and DirectAdmin would be the same as they should sync, though DirectAdmin does not accept an email as username, the same name as you can see under quickFTP in the panel should be used.

However, we did notice during testing when we setup the connection that passwords with certain characters, or if they don't match DirectAdmins requirements, don't get properly syncronized between the two (which is why we decided to use sessions instead). We didn't go into that much since the entire backend is being revamped, which automatically would solve that particular issue.

As for getting to phpMyAdmin, there are two possible ways, the one that has proven to work the best is going to "mysql management" and from there clicking the phpmyadmin link (that properly uses the session to login and should not prompt for a password). I'll notify admin that the other link (under extra features) has gone and reset itself again to not use the direct login option.
