Unable to upload attachments today, could before

I cannot upload attachments to my Forum this afternoon, but could before. A colleague could this morning. Can anyone help?

What is the size of the file your uploading?

Approx 29 k [a jpeg]

I have been able to upload 13kb gif files,

Another 216 kb jpeg file could not be uploaded

Check the permissions on the uploads folder and make sure it is 777.

Thank's for your help. I have checked the permissions on the CP Panel, but I cannot find a file called "Uploads" - there is a "Downloads" file. Most of the permissions are set to 755, there are a few set to 777.
Am I looking in the wrong place?

Look in the error log found in cPanel and see if there are any errors that may be related to uploading.

I could not see any entries in the upload log which related to uploading.

I have been looking on the phpBB forum, and wonder if the maximum file size that can be uploaded has been changed recently in the Php configuration file for the X10 system? Were there recent [last two months?] changes made on X10 for php?

I am able to upload image attachments, but they top of somewhere over 65 k. I have changed the image permission to 777, and I have set the attachment max file size to 0 [unlimited] in the Attachment Settinga part of the Admin Control Panel.
