I'm using XsitePro V2 to upload files for viewing on my website hosted by x10hosting. However, the files are not showing up on the browser when I open my website. I went to my control panel and the files are being uploaded, but for some reason the files are being forwarded to the public/html folder. If someone could please help direct me in what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Paul

The files are supposed to be in public_html or a subdirectory to be seen from the Web.

Do you have a URL for your site so we can see what the problem might be?

What do you see (404 File Not Found, Browser cannot find page, etc) when you try to view your site from your browser?

The website is www.swingheeler.com.
I was initially able to upload any changes I made to the website and view them immediately. On my control panel when I view the files independently of viewing them on a browser shows all of the changes made. However, when any changes are made, the main browser window shows no changes made since I first posted the website.

You might want to flush your browser cache as you will often get the old version stored in your browser. Sometimes ISP do the same thing. (since webpages normally do not change that often, it is more efficient for the browser/ISP to keep sending you old copies - fine unless you are developing a site and making constant changes).

Another trick is to add a ? to the end of the URL in the address bar and then ask for the page again (hit enter). It can convince the browser that index.html? is different from the stored index.html
