I don't know where this phishing or whatever report came from.

My Malware-dreams website is nothing but a progress website for my short animation.

The name MALWARE does not suggest that i actually SEND OUT MALWARE.

I don't understand why it has been suspended.

The reason included was "Phishing zt do not unsuspend -livewire. "

What on earth does that mean? I would very much appreciate it if somebody could help me.

My assessment is due tomorrow and all I need is for the site to be up for another week ...

EDIT: so I just found out who Livewire is and you have got to be joking. Abuse Compliance Officer? How have my sites abused anything? Both voda and malware-dreams are purely for non-commercial and educational purposes as they were built for assessment submissions.

Copied right from the bottom of your page, or are you going to tell me that Vodafone can't afford to run their own websites anymore?

The page I bore witness to claimed it was Vodafone Mobile, which is clearly not the case as vodafone's websites are not hosted on any of the x10hosting services. This files it under phishing, as the scanner's suspension reason for a phishing webpage is "A fraudulent webpage masquerading as a legitimate entity was uploaded." This is exactly what has happened on your account - the Vodafone page claims it's Vodafone, but it's not. Fraudulent webpage masquerading as a legitimate entity.


The short animation website had nothing to do with this; I didn't actually see that until now.

My deepest apologies.
The intention of the website was to offer sell Vodafone in a way to appeal towards a children's market for my 3rd year assessment. It wasn't my intention to be phishing or scamming though I understand it may appear to be that way. If you look on the pricing page the numbers are actually left blank and the contact details all refer back to Vodafone's numbers.

Is it possible for you to shut down the voda site and keep the malware one?

Gunna throw this in there too actually:

You are not permitted to use Vodafone's trade marks except (a) by saving or printing a copy of Vodafone's site as permitted below under the copyright permission; (b) through a legitimate reference to Vodafone or a Vodafone product or service with proper recognition of the trade mark's status; and (c) with Vodafone's prior written consent.

A and B are out as the page wasn't saved or printed in accordance with their copyright permissions, and unless you have prior written consent from Vodafone you're not in line with c either. If you do indeed have express written consent, we'll have to figure out how to get that forwarded on.



Unfortunately this one's part of the Zero Tolerance policy from the TOS as well; there's not much that can be done on it as it's falling under Illegal Material. Should Vodafone have seen the site, I can guarantee I'dve had a new ticket from the datacenter telling me there's a violating account

Kindly keep your cool and believe that Mr.Livewire is a rational person.Also he is a known expert and as we all do,you also should respect him and all the support team too.We are here to help as long as you follow terms and conditions.
When he does something we believe that the reason he does for is genuine.But if you feel otherwise,kindly post with proofs.
Just propositions may not help you in any way.
You have to keep your cool and recheck your code (you must have it on your pc or somewhere else).Then even if it is lengthy post with valid proofs.I understand that you are feeling bad.But your code might already be bad.Either you know or dont know, if the code was Phishing, the account is deleted.Plz Post only when you recheck your code completely and know about it completely.
Kindly donot argue and donot use bad language.

I'm still very new to website hosting and clearly I've stepped over the line with this one (trying to get more marks by actually hosting the site).

I understand where you're coming from and it's true that I would've been in deeper **** if Vodafone had seen it.

So my last question is; is the account unsalvagable ?

Frankly I don't need the voda site to be up at all anymore seeing as the assessment has already been submitted.
