Thanks for the info Zubair, sorry didn't know it was already posted so clearly
I thought I just had to wait some more - did read about the maintenance - but the control panel clearly said suspended and that I had to ask for assistance.

I have unsuspended your account. Just note that changes made hereafter will not me moved over to the new server automatically. This is because your files are packaged and haven't been restored to the new server yet.

I hope I wasn't getting ahead of things but I put back my old .htaccess file to get the site back. There was a new one with a redirect in it:
RedirectMatch \.(dynamiccontent|pl|plx|perl|cgi|php|php4|php4|php6|php3|shtml)$ http://x10lotus.x10hosting.com/cgi-sys/movingpage.cgi

That just redirects to a moved site page, I guess you shouldn't touch it yet..

Well that was the only thing standing in the way of using the site again, I assume the worst that could happen is that I get an older database when they're completely done, wouldn't be that bad in my case.
