I was not aware of a null vBulletin board. As a result of this ban i have removed the forum (which i was not aware was in a folder) totally from the account and now wish for my account to be unsuspended.

Nulled scripts are part of our zero tolerance policy, which means your account is permanently suspended and pending termination.

That is very unfair. As i said, i was unaware of the forum being uploaded onto my FTP and i had to search for it to remove it.

Zero Tolerance is Zero Tolerance; there are times it sucks, but here's the reason why it had to be implimented. In the past, x10 gave folks some leniency regarding this type of suspension. And in pretty much -every- case the account had to be resuspended because the violating material wasn't removed.

As such, x10hosting was being taken advantage of, so we had to institute Zero Tolerance.

My only concern here is how did you not know it was nulled? There's only one place to get it legitimately, and it costs something like $150 if memory serves. If you get it from -anywhere- else, it's not legal.

I found out i had a nulled file when my account was suspended.

Then there's not much we can do; the file you uploaded is in violation of a few different laws regarding copyright infringement, and per the TOS you're responsible for everything you upload.

All I can recommend for next time is doing a bit more research on the file/CMS/Forum you're about to upload to verify you have it legitimately free.

That's my point! But why would i search for a 'nulled' file if i didn't know i had it? :S

NOW you have lost another paying customer,i was a few days away from payday and i was going to buy hosting. I'm sure i can find somewhere better than x10Hosting - and i will be sending a bad review of your service and staff around.

No need to reply to this thread, it's too late now. My account's being 'terminated'.

Feel free to ragequit then - paid doesn't allow nulled scripts either.

As for "why would I search?" There's a Ferarri for sale. Perfect condition, the whole 10 yards. $20,000. Too good to be true? Probably. But hey, why should I search to see if it's legitimate when I can only get arrested for receiving stolen property and have a few months of court appearances to try and prove my innocence, right?

Same thing here. One google search for vBulletin takes you to their homepage where you find out it costs to own it. If you got it free, that's your big flashing red banner that says "Not Legal."

If it's paid for, dispute the suspension and staff can do a deeper check to see if it's a glitch. I'll be surprised if it did indeed glitch though, there's very few folks with vBulletin on x10free legitimately.

Then I'll escalate this up for just staff to see, otherwise the license key'll be public and there's not much I can do with it anyways - staff are the ones that have to see the key.

Login to your Account Information Panel to see this ticket; even though cpanel access is out, you should still be able to get to the AIP to view this.
