Hi. I am new to x10hosting. A friend of mine introduced me to this site but I am unhappy with the services provided. You have not given me the previlages as advertised everywhere(adfree-infinity). Though i wont be using that much of your resources,I want unlimited file upload limit, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited filespace. Please update my account as soon as possible.
Regards.

Still, there's nothing mentioned about upload limit. It should be increased atleast upto the softaculous limit. I aint able to install Magento. It should atleast be 256mb.

The Magento Community Edition zip archive (the largest version of the download) is only 25MB. There's no law saying you need to upload the app as an archive -- uploaded as expanded files (via FTP if you want to batch it), you can get by easily with a file size limit of 1MB (much bigger than any file in the archive, and it ought to be bigger than any product files as well). You don't need a 256MB file size limit for Magento.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I am actually new to the webhosting community and I am sorry if I sound somehow like a noob. The softaculous shows that Magento is 75mb or something like that and is giving me an error.
I installed prestashop( not knowing the fact you enlightened me with) and wanted to install a custom template which is also above the upload limit (104mb).

These things are usually in ZIPs or GZIPped archives to make them easier to download. You download one file instead of (sometimes) thousands, and you're a lot happier.

You can unzip them on your local machine before uploading -- there is very rarely a file that's bigger than about 20KB, even among the images for a theme. You will find it a lot easier to upload the unzipped package if you use an FTP client like FileZilla since it will maintain the directory structure for you (the cPanel File Manager isn't nearly as good for things in nested folders). Using an FTP client is a lot like using, say, Windows Explorer to manage your files; it's really pretty easy. See the Free Hosting Wiki entry for details on connection.
