Uploaded files issue.

Hi All,

I'm hope that I'm not being stupid but I have uploaded my site via FTP into the public_html folder with no errors.
When I browse to mysite, even with Indexing on the only page I can access is the default file (even though I have replaced the index.html file). I have checked via CPanel file browser and my new files show fine inside public_html & www and when I view index.html I see my new files as it should even when I view the source.

I have cleared my cache, flushed DNS but still the only page I can view is the great success.

Please help!

Got a link to your site? To your index page or another page on the site?

When you say you replaced the default page, do you mean you deleted the old index and placed a new index.html (no capitals)?

Thanks for getting back to me,

All pages are in lower case (I know unix us case sensitive).

The URL is http://sjjewelry.x10hosting.com / http://sjjewelry.x10hosting.com/index.html

Another file should be found at [URL="http://sjjewelry.x10hosting.com/test.html"]http://sjjewelry.x10hosting.com/test.html[/URL]
THe test.html page is in the public_html location.

At the moment the index.html page should be enireley different (entire different HTML when i view the code), it's as if the setup of my account didn't correctly update the location of my site for the subdomain.

Could you try logging in to the cPanel and check your source code in the File Manager to make sure that it matches what you're uploading via FTP?

When i check source via cpanel it shows the same as my local copy.
There is no index.html file in my public_html folder- only test.html (404 error) - I do not know ehere index.html is being pulled from.
Edit:
All has magically srated to work.
