Dear x10Hosting Team,

I'm using your free hosting service and I very satisfied with the service. Now I'm thinking in changing to your pay-service. In order to decide to make the change, I've some questions to do:

1.- It's possible to upload files (video from network cameras - no copyright) to your server.
2.- What's the max size for a file?

We are hosting a little ip-camera app to view live video on internet. I'm think is not breaking the x10hosting rules, but i want to be assured of that.

Best regards

Guillermo

Thank you.
I read the ToS and the point I was looking for says:

3. Content Restrictions
x10Hosting does not allow the use of it's services for illegal activities. This includes hosting of copyrighted material, nulled scripts, or anything that is considered illegal under US law. A suspension leading up to termination will be imposed for a breach of these terms. While we strive to accommodate all types of sites our shared hosting may not be used for the following:
File or Image Hosting Sites
Proxies
Download scripts such as but not limited to Rapidleech and TorrentFlux
Backup Space \ File Storage
Mirrors for software or game files
Scripts that run continuously
Scripts that run unattended or could be considered daemons
IRC Bots
Anything that would be considered illegal under US law
Furthermore the end user is solely responsible for all files on their site including any uploaded from compromised or hacked scripts. It is the responsibility of the client to make sure the permissions on their files are set correctly and all scripts in use are up to date with the latest patches.

File or Image Hosting Sites

That means you can not host images or videos to make your web site into a housing as youtube or imageshacks (at least that's what I understand)

But that may linker that content (if that does not infringe copyright rules, or illegal content) Greetings ;)

Hi gcastelli,

If you are using the cPanel File Manager to upload the files, the max size is 8 MB. If you are using FTP, Webdisk, or any other method, there is no maximum file size.
