I created a Site on Yola.com previously know as sylviasites.com and I have downloaded the site files. the readme says to Copy the site to the webroot. The web root is the public_html , and i can upload the file. I see the index and all the other files needed for the site, in the public_html file, and when I go to my site lenacbradley.com all i get is the cannot find page.

I checked with my domain registrar And i do infact own the domain, and x10hosting says my domain is lenacbradley.com

any help will be apriciated

If you haven't already, you need to go to your domain registrar & set the DNS to

ns1.x10hosting.com

and

ns2.x10hosting.com

You may need to leave it 24 hours for the change to take affect.

I hope this helps! :)

The domain is registered correctly.
In the dns nameserver management, It gives me 3 boxes for each, I need a host name and an IP, and address type.

I think the other stuff isn't needed.

Just try what I suggested. Should work.

I've told you all you need to know on this.

But I don't use .co.cc so I can't tell you where exactly on their site to enter the DNS. As to the IP etc - you shouldn't need it.

Does someone else who uses .co.cc want to talk to lenabrad about this?

Yes, sorry.

I've been answering so many queries on different threads this week that I got muddled up on that last post I made.

Ignore the bit I said about .co.cc!! Sorry.

But it's taking a while to prize any useful info out of lenabrad, so we don't even know yet who the registrar is, or whether lenabrad wants/ has set this up as a main, parked or add-on domain. I assume main domain, & that it's been done correctly in the Account Management Panel?

I still don't know why anything other than the DNS needs to be set at the registrar. All the registrars I've ever used would take the other fields as alternatives, but the DNS set to ns1.x10hosting.com & ns2.x10hosting.com has always been all that is required.

If you need the other fields to be filled in, lenabrad, then I'm afraid I don't know them.

Anyone else?

I wouldn't advise giving out your passwords to others.

A whois look-up shows the domain registrars are http://www.active-domain.com.

Why not just ask them how to set up your DNS?

im not not gona steal or something u be thinkin btw once my email was hacked to the hacker got his hands on my go daddy account then he redirected all my domains to his domain so i contact godaddy and told them the my email was hacked and hacker got my godaddy account iswell so they said please provide the proof when i purchased the domain via paypal there was a transaction id so i gave the to them and they restored the account back to me:biggrin:

OK. Thanks I had some troubles and I figured it out.
I don't know if this will help anyone but,

If you are using your own domain from Active-domain.com, to properly change your DNS nameservers, you have to login,
then click on your domain,
look at the center of the page and scroll down till you find a blue link that says "Nameservers"
click on the drop down box labeled "*Use: " and change it to User defined nameservers
then enter ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com in boxes number 1 and 2

Thanks for your help zen-r and hopefully this can help someone else
