Uploading web-site to server

Do I need to upload each separate file, photo, image separately? Or can I upload all my web-site files at once? If I can upload multiple files at once how do I do this? I did a forum search but couldn't find out how to do this. Thank you.

Zip all the files ans upload and unzip in filemanager.
