Here are some useful websites that I recommend if, like me, you are a beginner to web design or if you need inspiration and free resources.

www.smashingmagazine.com - has huge galleries of well designed sites for inspiration and lots of useful tips and links to tutorial sites.

www.kirupa.com - big range of easy to use tutorials for flash/photoshop/php/asp.net/more.

www.bittbox.com - lots of high quality textures and vectors that are free to use on your website.

www.textureking.com - a bit like bittbox, it has a huge collection of free textures.

I get most fonts for my work in the GIMP from there, good site; I'd recommend it.

i found very useful stuff for php and mysql on
tutorials.de...

you can also google and write tutorials.de after the search words. helped me out 3 times and i am into this still 3 month...
